Customizing Email Logo
Each email notification in EasySocial will have a logo automatically. It will give a better impression of your site to the email receiver. By default EasySocial logo will be used, however, if you like to change the logo that appears in your email, you can follow the following steps.
You can find the default logo at EasySocial > Settings > Layout > General under General Features section.
If you like to change this, click on Choose File button to select the new logo that you like to use. Click Save button to upload and store the changes.
To change the set logo, simply click on the Choose File button again. If you like to remove the set logo, click on the Remove button appeared on top of the logo. Then, the system will fall back to the default logo.
ImportantIn major version updates, you need to ensure that your customized file is up to date.
There are times where you do not want to display logo in your email. To do so, navigate to EasySocial > E-mails > Template Editor. You'll see a list of available email template for EasySocial.
Search and locate template.php file from the list and click on it. After you click on it, you'll be redirected to email template editor.
File Information section on the left will be displaying the necessary information about the edited file. Email Editor will be rendered on the right side.
Carefully search and locate the following lines of code and remove it from the template. Once you're ready, click on the Save button to store and create your template override file.
After a successful saving, you'll be redirected back to the list of email template. You'll see the template.php now will be marked Modified.
Reverting this customization also quite easy. Locate and checked the template.php file, and click on Reset To Default button. Make sure you're reverting the correct modified file as this process irreversible. Please be careful.
