Configuration

It's time to configure EasySocial. We'll list all the basics EasySocial configuration settings here.

Global Events Settings

In this section, you will be able to configure the behaviour of Events in EasySocial. To start configuring those settings, navigate to Components > EasySocial > Settings > Events.

EasySocial Events Settings

  • Enable Events
    Determine whether events feature should be enabled on the site.
  • Allow Inviting Non Friends
    Determine whether users are able to invite non friends to the event.
  • Calendar Start of Week
    Specify which day marks the starting day of the week.
  • Recurring Limit
    Specify the maximum number of event recurring allowed. Avoid entering large numbers here to prevent huge server load.

EasySocial Events Settings Layout

  • Default Tab
    Determine the default tab that should be visible when the item is being accessed.
  • Default Editor For Event Descriptions
    Determine the default editor that you would like to use for the Event Descriptions.
  • Show End Date
    Determines whether the end date of the event should be displayed.
  • Display Time Format
    Specify the time format for events.
  • Show Address
    Determine whether the address should be displayed.
  • Show Seats Left
    Determine whether the number of seats left should be displayed.
