Requirements

You will need to make sure that your website has met the Minimum Requirements listed in order for EasyArticles to run optimumly.

Joomla

EasyArticles recommended you to install the latest version of Joomla on your website. This will help securing your website with the security fixes from Joomla.

  • Joomla 3.0
  • Joomla 3.8+ (Recommended because of the security fixes by Joomla)

PHP Requirements

EasyArticles primaryly runs on PHP and surely requires it to be existed on the site. The following are the PHP libraries and packages that are required by EasyArticles.

  • PHP v5.3.3+ and above.
  • PHP Extensions: ZIP Library.
  • PHP Extensions: GD Library.
  • PHP Extensions: CURL Library.
  • PHP: [memory_limit = 128MB].
  • PHP: [upload_max_filesize = 128MB].
  • PHP: [post_max_size = 128MB].
  • PHP: [max_execution_time = 120].
  • PHP: [magic_quotes_gpc = Off].

MySQL Requirements

EasyArticles requires a minimum version of MySQL 4.1.3+.

Recommended Hosting Providers

We have ran couple of tests on these hosting providers and we would like to recommend them because they have survived our stress test and they seems to be pretty good at what they are doing.*

  • SiteGround - Optimized to run on Joomla! sites.
  • Rackspace - Pretty good support and fast servers.
