How to Configure Frontpage Posting
~ Ever wonder why certain posts do not show up at EasyBlog's frontpage?
This documentation addresses some of the concerns around frontpage posting. By default, there is a Blog Frontpage option in the composer. This option determines if the post will be displayed on the main blog listing, in other words the front page of EasyBlog.
The setting that determines if the Blog Frontpage option should display in the composer can be found at Settings > Editor > General > Post Options > Allow Modification Of Frontpage Attribute
If you want this option to be visible to certain user groups and invisible to others, you may configure this at the ACL section. Navigate to ACL > usergroup > Compose > Change Frontpage Contributions to set the permission level for the respective user group.
For existing posts, to check if they are currently displayed on the front page, head to the post listing in the backend and take a look at the frontpage column. If the disabled icon shows under certain posts, then those posts are not visible on the front page. Click on the disabled icon or the frontpage option in 'Other Actions' to change the front page option of the post.
