Setting Up Work Schedule & Holiday
Impression of your support responses are extremely important in any organization and it makes it even more challenging when you're working with multiple timezone and countries as each different region has a different holidays. With EasyDiscuss 4, you can now inform your users of the operation hours of your team and also you can create holiday schedules where users would be able to see if the team is currently unavailable. This will reduces customer's expectation when they are on a different timezone.
Start setting up work schedule by navigating to:
EasyDiscuss > Settings > General > Work Schedule. Here, you will need to Enable Work Schedule option and set the following options appropriately.
- Enable Work Schedule
Enabling work schedule on the site.
- Work days
Determine which days are the working days for the site.
- Working Hours
Determine the working hours for the site.
- Work Hour Display Format
Determine how the hours will be formatted.
Start applying for new holiday by managing it on your Dashboard. Navigate to your dashboard by login to your site on the Frontend. On the setting dropdown, you will see Dashboard option as shown in the screenshot below.
Do remember that, this option is only visible for user whom has permission to manage it. You can change/set the permission from the ACL option at the backend.
Click on New Holiday button to create a new holiday for your site.
