EasyDiscuss 3.2 supports EasySocial and Joomla 3.2

EasyDiscuss 3.2 Release

EasyDiscuss version 3.2 is now available for download.

In this version, we've added superior integration with EasySocial, our latest social networking extension for Joomla, and it is compatible with Joomla 3.2 now.

Joomla 3.2 Support

Starting your own forums or something like StackOverflow in your own Joomla site is now possible for websites built in Joomla 2.5, 3.0 and 3.2. To upgrade your EasyDiscuss, just download and overwrite the current version in your site. Or if you want it all clean, you can safely uninstall EasyDiscuss and install afresh with this new version.

Integration with EasySocial

Activities in EasyDiscuss such as new questions, replies, comments, likes, etc are now viewable in EasySocial's activity stream. Community managers have the option to enable/disable the desired posts to appear in the stream. Profiles are shared in between EasyDiscuss and EasySocial for easier interactions and user access.

New theme - Zinc

A new minimalist theme is also bundled in this version of EasyDiscuss. This theme is meant to be simple so that frontend developers and Joomla template fans can easily customize the styles without heavy code tweaking.

Other minor enhancements include:

  • Ability to map email address to categories
  • ACL to control reports functionality
  • Moderation of post with threshold
  • Ability to delete Avatar picture
  • New Syntax highlighter (optimised)

You can refer to the EasyDiscuss changelog for more detailed fixes and enhancements.

Nice to see active development of the stackideas products. :)

The release notes are a bit scarce, can you confirm if the following items were included/fixed:

- Additional smilies configurtation like Komento.
- Proper pagination for inside topics.
- Improved navigation bar, similar to the stackideas forum
- It was mentioned in the forum you improved the Ajax framework and this would result in faster forum usage (I have not notice it to be slow, to be honest. :p )

Edit: Or maybe I should...
