Hi,

I suggest to improve the behavior for Group Blog App because the actual one is not user friendly.

Bellow I explain the improved behavior for Group Blog App, depending on Group privacy. Some of them are available, other are not, but i wanted to explain the "big picture". Let's start.

Public Groups (with or without moderation to join)

1. When a user writes or associates an article in a Public Group type, the article must follow the group privacy and this mean it must be public and the stream must be public too.
2. The article must be also displayed in User Blog App, because is his article and he owns the content.
3. The article is displayed in (Dashboard) Posts menu item from EB so, this means that if you don't display it in User Blog App the user will be confused because the number of articles created will be different. (EB (Dashboard) Posts menu item VS. User Blog App) and on top of that, he can't tell what articles have been posted in groups and what articles have been posted in his profile or EB component (same thing). Given the fact that the user has a Blog menu in his User profile, suggest that he can access all his articles in his profile instead of accessing the EB - (Dashboard) Posts menu item and this must not create confusion to the user.
4. The article must be displayed in EB Frontpage, categories, tags, author entry and so on, under his name
5. The modules (like EB - Random Post or EB - Most Popular Post and other) must display the discussions posted in this groups types.

Private & Invite only Groups

a. When a user writes or associates an article in a Private or Invite Only Group type, the article must follow the group privacy and this mean it must be private and the stream must be private too.
b. The article must be also displayed in User Blog App, because is his article and he owns the content.
c. The article is displayed in EB (Dashboard) Posts menu item so, this means that if you don't display it in User Blog App the user will be confused because the number of articles created will be different. (EB (Dashboard) Posts menu item VS. User Blog App) and on top of that, he can't tell what articles have been posted in groups and what articles have been posted in his profile or EB component (same thing). Given the fact that the user has a Blog menu in his User profile, suggest that he can access all his articles in his profile instead of accessing the EB - (Dashboard) Posts menu item and this must not create confusion to the user.
d. The article must be displayed in EB Frontpage, categories, tags, author entry and so on, under his name, only to members enrolled in the group where the article was posted, along with the article posted from User profile or EB (Dashboard) Posts (same thing)
e. The modules (like EB - Random Post or EB - Most Popular Post and other) must display the articles posted in this groups types.

The good thing is that, in all the possible scenarios the URL is the same so the changes will never harm the SEO, but there is something tricky. When the Group Owner/ Admin decide to delete a Group Article (or Reject the article if this app will obey to Post Moderation which, by the way, it should), what is happening with the article? This is simple, the article is deleted only from that group along with the stream created and will remain in User Blog App & EB component and will be applied the user privacy. In addition, the article will no longer use the Group Mini Header, it will use the User Mini Header. In this way, the user never lose his content when other people decide in his place and if the user pays to write articles in Blog (using PP) it will be no trouble.

Important: In to no circumstances, the Group owner or the Group Admin, will not be allowed to edit the content of the article.

Isn't this, a friendly user experience? I hope I explained this well and I made you understand my point of view. It was hard work for me to do this, so please, read it carefully to not interpret wrong some words or phrases. Thank you for your patience.

If I missed something or you think my proposal is not good or anything else, please debate.
