Stack Ideas Family Retreat

Moving on, the whole StackIdeas family will be away from April 7th - April 9th, 2017 for a little team building retreat. This trip was long delayed because we couldn't find a suitable time for it, despite our busy schedule we managed to set aside some time and decided to just do it.

Due to our short retreat, there would be some delay on our forums and helpdesk however we'll try to squeeze in some spare time to answer some urgent cases, meanwhile you may try referring to our forums for some answers.

Whopping 40% discount up for grabs

Last but not least, it doesn't seem fair that we have "all the fun" over the long weekend, therefore we decided to offer 40% off for all EasyDiscuss and Komento license renewal. Just enter the coupon code:TYBETA3 upon checkout to enjoy this offering and this is valid for the next 3 days only.

We really appreciate your patience and happy testing! :)

hi. just tried your 5.1 Demo Page but there is still not a easy way to add a Image Caption under a new Image without using the right Sidebar! Please create a Option to add/edit Image Caption direct within the respective Image in Composer Write Area.

You could already type an image caption directly if there is already a text there.

Loving it. Like the way the add block window is a manageable site. Generally Easier to use. Also the ES Fixes seem to be working like a charm. I am a happy camper Paul.

Thanks Paul!

Great work on all fronts!

One question... On the EasySocial change-log there's a new feature about mailings and notifications for events. How do I find out more about what this is, where it is, and how it works?!

Enjoy your Stack Ideas Family Retreat!

Hi Andy,

For EasySocial 2.0.15 and above, events reminders in which can be found from backend > easysocial > settings > events > enable reminders as shown here http://take.ms/PiYxT will notify and send email notification automatically to all attendees of the upcoming events.

Great. Thanks!

Have a nice "trip building". Have fun ... Nice job

Thanks Cristian, we had a great time together.

Fantastic work Mark.. For composing however i still miss having more space. Would be good if you could adopt a medium like editor as one option. Its a breeze to compose on it.. Actually makes you feel like writing.

Another heads up. We have been experimenting with a Google Docs to Joomla addon and have successfully posted to EasyBlog using the APIs from Appcarvers. More on that later !

Thanks! This is one of the reason why the editor loads up on a full page instead now.

Unlike Medium or any other authoring tools, having a different font will be extremely tricky because it involves the line height / padding / margin differences and most of the time, what you write will be different than the output altogether.

In order to maintain the behavior between the output and the composing experience, we had to minimize as much changes on the fonts.

Looking forward to testing EB 5.1. A lot of great additions. Also we appreciate the EasySocial upgrade.

Glad to hear you folks took a well deserved vacation.

Thanks Josh, it was a great retreat!
