Hi,
To avoid duplicate uploads, the videos uploaded in groups must be displayed in User profile videos and ES videos too, obviously if the group privacy allow this.
When this ticket (Display Categories menu in Groups Videos) will be solved, the categories menu of a group must display only the videos from that group.
Some Arguments:
1.The video uploaded in a group generate a stream in the user name and this means that is his/her video.
2.The user who uploaded the video is not changed after the group owner/ admin edit the video (Read: Prevent Group owner & admins to edit items in groups)
3.You can forget about videos you've uploaded in community and where (groups, pages, events) but you can always check your videos in your profile
4.Other users can find videos in ES videos, uploaded in groups and they can join the group if they like the video content.
Otherwise, the users must search in groups videos, one group at a time, to see the uploaded videos.
The change can start with videos uploaded in a Public Groups types (with or without moderation to join), because they always can be displayed everywhere, including EasySocial Videos Module too.
OFF Topic: The albums created in a group are are already displayed in EasySocial Albums, if the group privacy permit this.
