EasySocial 2.2.6

Updates Available for EasySocial & PayPlans

Updates Available for EasySocial & PayPlans

It's the first day of November and Joomla recently released Joomla 3.9 just a couple of days ago. Joomla 3.9 focuses primarily on privacy related matters which includes user consents, user information request, extension capabilities, user actions logs and tons of other cool improvements as well.

EasySocial 2.2.5

Apart from addressing a possible compatibility issue with Joomla 3.9, EasySocial 2.2.5 also includes a couple of minor bug fixes as listed some below:

  • Edited hashtags will now display properly
  • Featured events now display in nearby events
  • Improved video page load
  • Improved conversation files download
  • Removed search field for guests in Docker app
  • User profile to appear in mobile view
  • and so on ...

PayPlans 3.7.1

While PayPlans 4.0 development is still on-going, and seeing a couple of reports came in reporting a fatal error found at the administrative area after the upgrade. Hence, PayPlans 3.7.1 release addresses Joomla 3.9 compatibility too.

Coming soon

The team is working around the clock on both PayPlans 4.0 and EasySocial 3.0 concurrently, so bear with us. We still don't have an exact ETA for these major releases unfortunately, nevertheless, we really appreciate all the enthusiasm, support and suggestions that we have been getting thus far. We're almost there!

Should you require any assistance with upgrading EasySocial or PayPlans, feel free to get in touch with us on our helpdesk and our support team will be more than happy to assist you.

Stay tuned, Mark will be sharing more about mobile updates for EasySocial 3.0 very soon. :)

Ah man :c since weeks i'm waiting for news about ES 3.0 and mobile. Always i'm hering "soon". I'm sorry, but I'm really disappointed. Even if the date is not set-which I can understand-you can write blogs and introduce the individual points. And please don't write "there will be information soon". I check the page about 10 times a day. Now I see the blog and finder again nothing about mobile. Think it's really a pity how to do it here. What does "soon" mean? 1 week, 1 month or another time...

What does "soon" mean? 1 week, 1 month or another time period. Am really a big fan of your products, but have the feeling that we are left to leave. When the reasoning comes "we are working on the updates and co". Then please do not announces any functions. It's like Christmas when you can read and write about cool stuff. But it's hell to wait or get sparse information. The most important information for me would be the section with Mobile SDK or mobile native Web solutions. I don't read anything about it and I'm excited about it. But again as with the previous blog, it was not addressed. You will always be comforted on "soon". I don't think that's fair.

As much as we want to disclose as much information possible, we would only be able to disclose more information about it when the time is right.

Can you tell us if there have been major changes to the code base and API? If we develop new custom fields, apps, and templates now how are they going to be impacted by the changes in ES 3.0?

There will be major changes on the rendering of the sidebars but most of the apps and custom fields would remain intact. As long as there are no major hacks made to the core files, it will be good :)

Really very good work. The strength lies in the peace and quiet.

Sidebar in user-profile is in mobile-view not visible. It is not available in template "Wireframe". in pages it is visible. Would be nice if "Wireframe" will be adapted to the mobile template. ;)

Otherwise every product from "Stackideas" is worth its money.
