It's Friday and we are happy to announce that PayPlans 4.0 Beta is now ready for further testing. In this release, we focus mainly on bug extermination, usability refinements along with Joomla 4.0 compatibility.

Not to mention, we had deprecated a couple of payment gateways and 3rd party integrations, which were mostly obsolete or no longer used.

SagePay eWAY CCBill Pay.nl
PaySealDeltaPayMerchant E-SolutionsEBS

CashEnvoyAuthorize Hosted CIM

Deprecated 3rd Party Integrations

Drop Files DocMan Akeeba Ticket System Ninjaboard

Attention Bug Squad

We could not empathize more about this, it's NOT recommended to install PayPlans 4.0 Beta release on a live site. Instead, you should only install it on a staging or development site.

Not forgetting that all bug reports, feedback or inquiries will be gathered on our dedicated forum section with the link below. This will be much easier for our developers to monitor and address every reported bugs or issues found in this release. Happy testing everyone!

Just to be 100% clear then Fastspring is still supported. Correct?

Yes, Fastspring is supported in PayPlans 4. :)

This is biggest disappointment. After waiting for more than 1 year with paid expired Subscription, today received the News that CCAvenue the biggest Payment Gateway in the India deprecated without taking any feedback from the customer. The payplans without CCavenue will be just useless to us and many Indian customers.

Sorry but highly disappointed with the Stackideas.

I am sorry but I don't seem to see any PayPlans license on your account but if you do have a license, please feel to get in touch with us and provide us with a test account for CC Avenue :)

The only reason that we dropped support for these payment gateways is either because:

1. They are no longer in business

2. They are reluctant to provide us with a test account.

I second what Sunny has said. CCavenue is the largest payment gateway in India and has a market share of 85%. Though I donot have a CCavenue account yet, there should be users who use CCavenue with Payplans who would be affected by this.

Thank you for your kind support.

When Stackideas took over the Payplans I immediately paid the subscription thinking that it would get developed faster. But unfortunately it didn't happen. My subscription ended and got renewed automatically without my consent!! I then requested your Customer care team to delete my Renewed Subscription. I guess your Team deleted my Licence, hence no Payplans listed in my Account. If you want I can send an Email which I received after subscription to confirm the same.

Please add my expired Subscription to your System, so that I can help you in Beta Testing.

1. This is incorrect.

2. Possibly your team have not requested them.

Let me know your Email id to send the CCavenue integration Kit.

If you could send the integration kit over to mark AT stackideas.com, we'll take a look at it :)

I just sent to your Email. Thanks.

I am getting Failure Demon Error with following message:

552: 5.7.0 This message was blocked because its content presents a potential
5.7.0 security issue.

Please provide me alternate method to send Kit

hey Sunny, i guess it's quiet easier for mark and his team, if you could open a support ticket, where everything could be done.

@mark new blog today :)?

HI Mark,

I would like to use payplans as well. Any estimate when the gopay payment gateway https://www.gopay.com/www/en/ integration could be done?

thanks

Best,
Pavol

Unfortunately, we do not have any plans for it at the moment. For new payment gateways, feel free to post at https://crm.stackideas.com and we'll issue you an official quote and ETA for it. :) Otherwise, you may post it https://stackideas.com/forums/payplans/feature-requests and perhaps we might consider adding it in the next major release. :)

I think all round more granular control over which parts of Easy Social are visible would be very cool. Maybe taking something like this for inspiration: https://www.jlexart.com/jlex-block

When will we see a final release? I have just paid for a 3rd subscription and I'm getting frustrated with how long this process is taking.
I mean, 14 months down the line and the finish line is still not in sight?

I love what Stackideas does and the products you deliver, don't get me wrong.

So far I have paid $283 for a product which required zero support and for which I may or may not get a update in the next 6 months
And if it does become available somewhere within the next 6 months, a man off the street will pay 1/3 of that AND still get a full 6 months support, whilst I will be some months into my current subscription and only get support for the remaining period of mine!
As it stands now, most existing users will be better off cancelling their subscription and waiting until you actually release a new version.

Guys, this model of loyal supporters funding years of development and then getting a deal that's little better than what any stranger can get isn't right. We need a proper commit date/target.

I also believe that you need to consider extending support when the new product is released to the full 6 months for current subscribers.

Hey Marc,

We totally understand your frustrations. PayPlans 4.0 is by far one of the most complex release ever, especially when it involves payments. Currently, we're addressing all the reported issues in Beta as we speak. Furthermore, we are also working on EasySocial 3.0 concurrently.

We appreciate for all the support, however its totally understandable if you decided to discontinue for the time being and wait on the stable version instead.

Will you integrate any cryptocurrency payment solutions?

  1. Mark    Andrew Rice

Hello Andrew,

PayPlans already has support for BitPay out of the box :)

I'm impressed with the progress so far.

I bought payplans back in 2014 and was planning to use it for ordering services. I ended up using YR Price Calculator, I'd like to ask whether Payplans will be able to do the following:

1. Setup configurable orders like this -> https://arrowthemes.com/services/all-services . If you increase the quantity of an item, the quote sub-total and total increases based on the choices.

2. Allow for part payment: 50% deposit, the rest on project completion

I look forward to your response.
