Do I read this correctly, $100 to add full QR code functionality to EasySocial?! I think I'll just download some of the free opensource code out there instead!

If you all decide to make a little cheaper I would buy them all. But 100.00 is expensive for me, since I've dropped over 1000.00 so far

Thanks for your input on this. We thought that customers would only be interested in certain sections of the site to have QR Codes but we will be adding a bundle for this soon.

It's for users to scan the QRCode to open the page on their mobile device :)

Hi Mark, Can I use the QR code to FIRST log me in on my mobile AND THEN take me to a specific (only viewable for registered users) Easy Social page/group/event what ever?

I know little or nothing about QR codes. The only time I use one is to connect "Whats App" on my computer with my phone. It was the only reason I could think of using something like this, Was just curious. Thanks Paul.

The QR Code on Whatsapp mobile app is probably just an authentication mechanism to ensure that you are really you :)

I guess What´s App by definition knows your phone number. So proving that you are you would make sense and should not be a big deal. Maybe if you had your phone number in your ES account and you were connecting to a restricted ES page with your phone this could be a cool feature? Just thinking aloud here.

Strange....I must admit I am a bit confused about how these apps could be useful to social community website without an auto login function.
All the QR code will do is redirect to the home page (unless groups/events/pages are set as public).
Any specific scenario in mind where they will add real value? Something that I'm not seeing?
