Well, well, well...
One year ago, Andrew announced the release of EasySocial 1.0. Time sure warped really quick around us; it's EasySocial's 1st birthday! We have been through a lot together; both the Stack Ideas team and our users. Without you guys, we are nothing but a bunch of Asian geeks trying to solve some math problems or play chess in some random park.
I personally do admit that there are times when we were unable to deliver fully the stuff that we've planned but this, I assure you, is all due to our respect to our users. We do not want to release something which is half-baked and full of bugs. We want it to be shiny and spotless, without a single dent on it.
Currently EasySocial is at version 1.3, with nearly 22000+ commits... and counting!
Some of you might wonder on any updates that we have for the up-coming EasySocial release. I am not suppose to share everything that I know, but I managed to squeeze something out from the developers. How I squeeze it out of him is not important; so don't ask. :D
We are building a Nearby Event Listings, which means EasySocial can now detect any events nearby your location.
Detecting any events nearby....
... Tadaaa! One event detected nearby! :)
Apart from this, I was informed that we have an 'All Day Event' and 'Date Filter on Event Listings". These are all features that we'll be implementing on Events alone. Of course we're also developing Videos alongside EasySocial 1.4. :)
The truth is that we wouldn't be here without you guys. Hence, we want to share with you all some goodies. For our 1st anniversary, we're giving out a 20% discount code to both our new and renewal purchases. Why? Because we're welcoming new members to the EasySocial family AND we're celebrating the 1 year anniversary with our current ones. The coupon code is :
Don't forget to wish EasySocial a big, happy birthday on our Twitter and our Facebook! :)
Edit: The coupon code is removed as it's already been two weeks since it's first released. Thank you for all of the support; we'll do whatever we can to provide the best component to our users. [edited on 28th of October 2014]
