Configurable Composer Blocks
In this release, you are now also able to configure the default behavior of the Heading block. This will be our first step in allowing blocks to be configurable from the back-end. Moving forward, we are going to add additional settings on the blocks for site admins to take advantage of this.

Performance Improvements
Performance has and will always be our priority. We have detected several bottlenecks prior to this release, which causes the initial page rendering time to be much slower than it should be. With this update, you will notice a much faster initial page rendering time.
Apart from that, we have also added several new settings in the back-end which allows you to turn off privacy integrations if your site does not rely on the privacy functionality. If all of your posts are public, you should turn off these features.
Bug Fixes
This release also includes several other non critical fixes which addresses some of these teething issues found in EasyBlog 5.2.5. These bug fixes can be found in the changelog.
Blog Apps for EasySocial
Along with the updates for EasyBlog 5.2.6, we have also updated all the blog apps for EasySocial to address an issue with the post cover on the activity stream where it wasn't adding the necessary alternate attribute for SEO purposes.
Upgrade to EasyBlog 5.2.6
Updating to EasyBlog 5.2.6 is relatively simple. All you have to do is hit the update button from the back-end or run a fresh installation with the 5.2.6 installer found on your dashboard, and you are good to go.
