EasyBlog 5's Translator Project Is Now Live!

EasyBlog 5's Translator Project Is Now Live!

As most of you translators might have known, we are relying on OpenTranslator for our EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss and Komento's translation. However, with the up-coming EasyBlog 5, we have decided to handle the translation project under our own organization. With EasyBlog 5 is near completion (and the Alpha release coming to your dashboard soon), we are opening up the translator's project for EasyBlog 5.

You must possess an active EasyBlog subscription in order to assist us with the translation. In return, we will provide you with a free EasyBlog 5 license for as long as you're an active contributor to your translation language team.

We will accept only 5 translator (not including the Reviewer), to ensure that each translation team are manageable. To join the time, first you must register with Transifex. Once you have registered, you can request to join the EasyBlog 5's translation team here. I personally suggest for you to use the same username as the ones you're using in Stackideas.com so that it's easy for the team to track down your license. Being an active translator also gives you more chances of getting selected.

The Stack Ideas team reserves the right to approve or reject any applications.

Seeing that this offer is only applicable to active license holders, I personally advice you to renew your EasyBlog license prior to your application. :)

Hi Shah! Thank you for requesting. We will manually check each applications and limits each team to have 3 translators; with the maximum of 5 (in case the current translators need some assistance). You should get a notification if you are approved; otherwise we would have to withhold your request and keep it in our KIV list.

Thank you for your kind understanding! :)

Thank you for all of the submission, guys. I am receiving TONNES of request (imagine, approximately 25 request per language!) and I'm going through one by one of all the requests. There might be some requests which I have no choice but to turn down due to the quota of translators per license, some I've even put it in 'pending request' status as we're giving ways to those who were successfully accepted.

I apologize if you were not chosen, one if the criteria that I truly look into is the previous track record of translations plus the record of licenses you have on our site. This is to ensure that our translator's license is not abused; we've had cases before where users only register for translation just to get the free license but did not provide any translations to the community. :(

I hope you guys understand the situation. If there's anything, you can directly hit me up at justin@stackideas.com.

To those who are already in the team, happy translating! :D

Accession to the team missing German, since I'm from Germany

Hey Sergej,

Our German language team is currently full :(
Perhaps you could provide me your Transifex ID so that I can add you in once a vacancy is open :)

  1. Teo

I see that Greek language is not included in EB5, do you want to add it?
