WYSIWYG backend vs frontend

I have perhaps an unusual question. It has to do with composing on the back end and then publishing on the front end. And I will include screenshots to illustrate.
When I compose on the backend I get a really nice, wide screen. But the front of the site's main column is sandwiched between two sidebars. That main column size is approx 700px so what happens is that I create (and format) the article in the back (at 1000px +) but when I publish it it's not anything like what I created in the back (obviously.)
Is there a way to create the article in a way that gives me something closer than the disparity between the two that I'm seeing now? In other words, can EasyBlog be adjusted in the back end to more accurately reflect what I'm going to see when the article is published.
Just FYI, I'm using JCE for the editor, not the EasyBlog one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Mark
