"Views" Showing up in Komento although "Hits" hidden in Joomla

Hi
When I enable Komento on Catogories that include Blog Categories, on the Blog Category page, it displays (for example) "Comments (0)" and View [128]" (e.g. number of times that article has been viewed). (See screendump 02.jp)

This only shows up when I turn Komento - it does not show up otherwise. I do not want the number of times the article has been viewed to show up. I have looked all through Joomla core and can't see where this is coming from,

In the Article Options, I definitely have the "Show Hits" button set to HIDE. In the menu manager I also have "Show Hits" set to "Use Global(Hide)". (see screendumps 01.jpg and 03.jpg)

Again, given it shows up only when Komento is turned on, I am thinking it has something to do with Komento.

Can you let me know how/where I turn this off?
(I am including screenshots to show the problem, as I turned off Komento for the Blog pages on my website as I don't want those Views showing).
