Various trouble about the dashboard

Sorry for posting again, but i am really puzzled by the dashboard layout for EasyDiscuss, I already lost precious time by trying to sort it out, and still in a hurry:

_It is not clear about who can access the dashboard and how to set what is displayed there. There is nothing in documentation, and my tests showed quite inconsistant behaviours. So for example I have 2 users, one is super user, the other is administrator. They have exactly the same rights concerning moderation in ACL. The first one can access the dashboard and sees "Manage posts" with a pending post. The second gets a message "not allowed here". When i enable the "manage hollidays" option, second user is suddenly allowed to see the dashboard (but doesn't see the pending post). Any advice?

_Is it because a user can see the dashboard only if it has content? then why redirect the user to another page telling him he is not allowed? why not simply open empty dashboard?

_are there any seetings to choose who can acces this, and what to display in it? Currently, this is not a feature i can use..

_edit: when user is not allowed, i am redirected with this in url "index.php?option=com_easydiscuss". That messes the routing, if i click on a link i am redirected to an arbitrary menu item, without seeming to have a link with what i clicked..
