Various Issues

I have been running version 3 and its been excellent, i did try beta 5 a while back and did not get on with it.

However i updated to V5 on a backup site and just wanted to know if its better to do a fresh install as the upgrade seems to create issues.

Some of the things i cannot work out are:


Cannot edit themes no more, i dont want all the bits and bobs that come with it
Cannot remove author name and category from breadcrumbs dispite setting to no show
Cannot find how to select blog post type i.e video or photo, on v3.9 an embeded video appears on frontpage when post set to video, on v5 no cover pictures or video show at all
Want to remove - related posts and recent posts but despite setting these to off and 0 they show anyway
Set Print to hide and pdf to on, totally ignored and the reverse happens
Half the tooltip help in the setting pages are blank
Some tooltip comments relate to other items, i.e video size shows tooltip for upload size
Truncate post is currently set to 25, however 3.9 it was set to 250. makes no odds on v5 its displaying as v3.9 did


Is it recommended to install fresh and remove existing db entries etc which is not a problem as i have few posts for the moment
