It would be really useful to be able to specify a validation expression for date fields.
For example I have a custom date field that a user needs to set. The day will always be the first day of the month and the month will either be January or August. I would like to be able to specify a validation expression so that the day is fixed to to '01' and the user can choose only 'January' or 'August' for the month.
If anyone else thinks this would be useful please vote for it!
