User wants to unhide someone's stream updates

A Registered user accidentally clicked "hide user updates" on an admins updates on their stream and now can't see any updates from this admin at all. He wants to be able to see these updates again as they contain important information. What can this user do at their end to unhide stream updates from the admin or what can I as an admin do to force him to see my stream updates?
