Upgrade Issues

Hey guys, I am a bit disappointed with the way you handled the upgrade of the blog component to the recent versions (v5 +)

I was upgrading from the v3.9 of the component and have spent the last 48 hours fixing issues after upgrading. There are still things I cannot fix and that is why I am writing this post.

Firstly, the component auto updater never flagged the upgrade and I had find this by accident (what happens if my renewal date passed without me realising an update was available?)

Here are some of the issues I have been fixing after the upgrade:

- All Blog "cover" images were distorted in size and needed manual resizing in the settings.
- All videos embedded using the blog tool did not work (the embed link was just plain text), I had to manually correct all videos links.
- *All H2 tags have lost formatting, where I had certain words within the H2 tags bold, all H2 tags now appear bold and cannot be changed.
- *Social icon strips have changed positions to the bottom of articles, I preferred them at the top of a post but do not know how to shift their position.
- *All my blog posts have the LinkedIn shared icons display the value of "29 shares" this is obviously in error (see attached image)
- *Some text in the components settings tabs appears garbled (see attached image)
- *The template positions within easy blog have shifted. The Google Adsense images that used to appear after the blog post cover image now appear above instead. (something similar happens to the position at the end of the content.
- *I have lost the RSS feed link on the home page (even though it is enabled in settings)


All the issues with an asterix in front are still unsolved - Can you help? (login details shared)
