Updating PHP

I need to update the php version of my joomla site but im not 100% which directory is that of my joomla site and not the wordpress one (named bblunt.agency (php56)

please would you be able to help me select which directory i need to update (even better if you can update for me!). also is there anyway of making it auto update?
