Unable to see others users profiles

Hi,

I'm begining to set up a community website, with Payplans and Easysocial. I've configured plans, the workflow and custom fields, and a menu to display a list of all users. Everything seems fine, but when I click on a user name, I'm redirected to a stream/newsfeed, instead of seeing the user profile. Do you know how I can solve this ?

I've another question too : I would also like to create a easysocial register form without Payplan, to allow an other kind of user to register freely on the website. Those user must have another profile type. Do you know how I can do this ?
