Trouble Getting Main Image on Blog Home Page

I am having lots of trouble getting our main blog post images to show up on the blog home page.

Here is our blog home: http://homehighschoolhelp.com/blog-posts.

Issue 1: As you can see, some of the posts featured on the front page show an image and others don't. It doesn't seem to matter if you make a cover or not. I can't figure out why it is behaving this way.

Issue 2: Some posts choose the wrong image to feature on the front ("Blessings Lee" should never be featured on the front page)

Issue 3: the posts on the blog home don't line up properly

Issue 4: rotation at bottom of home page doesn't work properly...same posts keep showing up.

Issue 5: On individual blog posts, we had a big square showing up on top that we need to remove.

We imported several thousand posts from WordPress into Easyblog. Many of them seemed to import fine and show on the homepage but many did not.

We are implementing our site this week and would really appreciate a response and perhaps also point me to training videos on how to use EasyBlog. We are new to it.
