The same alias cannot be used in a group category and in a page category at the same time?

Hello there,

I have a group category name/alias, for example "organization", when I want to give the same name/alias to a page category, URL alias becomes like "organization-2".

As Groups and Pages work on different URLs, there should be no conflict with same aliases. But system doesn't let the same alias coexist on a group category and on a page category. Could you please comment on this?
