System behavior when changing values in the settings of Profile Type

Hello there,

When I change some settings in Registered Users profile type, for example changing access from 100 photo albums to 50 photo albums or 300 friends limit to 100 friends limit, how system react this? I mean if a registered user has 250 friends and when I re-set the limit to 100, does the system delete their 150 friends or something else?
