Hi All...
I recently started to get Server 500 errors on my site when posting to EasyBlog. The guys here at StackIdeas had a look and they spotted my Facebook Access Token had expired. They said I needed to renew it. No matter what I tried, it just wouldn't renew, or when it did, would just renew for the current date.
Undefeated, I went about trying to figure this out. I'd seen some of the Admin/Moderators say to people to delete their Facebook App. I too was confused about this. I didn't want to have to delete and recreate the Facebook App, with all the hassle that comes with it. However, I soon figured out they meant just delete the App being associated with the Facebook User.
Anyhow, to make life easier (I hope) for anyone who is suffering the same issues, I've put together a document, in PDF, which shows you step by step how to get around this problem. It's attached to this post.
I hope it helps those of you who run into this problem with Expired Facebook Access Tokens.
