Where did the idea for StackIdeas Cntent Action Triggers ame from?[/ b]

Tonight while sorting through emails I was drawn in by this email title to read more about an extension.

[b]Is this the CRAZIEST extension ever?

After clicking read more I learned why noted Joomla expert Richard Pearce from BuildaJoomlawebsite chose the title. Richard explains the basics of the JA Social Locker extension and offered his valued opinion.

Is this the CRAZIEST extension ever? - by Richard Pearce, may 7, 2014
I am a fan of JoomlArt, one of the oldest and most respected Joomla extension developers. However their latest release has me scratching my head. It’s either fiendishly clever or downright evil. Would you let this extension lose on your website?

JA Social Locker
Module workflow
JA Social Locker module provides a great way to boost your campaign by helping increase traffic to your site. The module will lock your desired content (promotion info, coupon code) in any article. The locked content is only displayed to user when they share the article via their social chanels: Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus. See link below to learn more.

I'm not a big fan of forcing people to Like anything just to gain access to content, But I am a fan of engaging users to do something to gain access to further content on a site. I agree with Richard Pierce and his opinion of the use of content triggers. See link to his article below.

The extension does one thing well but I personally believe the usefulness of the JA Social Locker extension will wear out quick if over used.

What could StackIdeas come up with?

In the future the SI could Create generic or open content action triggers and now site administrators and bloggers have a very valuable tool at their descretion to triggers actions from site visitors or members.

StackIdeas Content Action Trigger plugin & module

Expand on the JA Social Locker functionality by adding an open rule based set of basic content action triggers in EasySociak, EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss, Komento. Make it open to expansion.

Example: if a site visitor or member reads an article and clicks on a content action trigger then unlock the desired content or site access - let them into an exclusive members only Group, or whatever the site administrator decides. Triggers could be unlock Badges, Member Rewards, coupons etc.

Add your thoughts and ideas below to expand n this.
