Social Share to facebook is pulling the page information instead of info from the stream item

When attempting to social share a post that includes a video to facebook ( a post in the stream feed ). It doesn't use the text from the post and has no link to the video. Instead it is pulling text from the joomla page and just showing the url of the website.
