Show old topics to members whose subscriptions are expired. read-only?

Hi,

I happened to use EasySocial and my membership had expired. That closes all the forums too!!

Is it too much to ask for a "read-old" just to view the answers here for old members? It isn't fair to ask to renew a subscription! I'm not even asking for support.
