Selecting an article in Terms custom fields does not do anything

I'm trying to select an article in the Terms custom fields and it's not doing anything. Also, the search for articles is not even helpful, I have to look for the article via the ID and sort is not working either. Would be much helpful if filter by Category is also an option.
