Hi,

Issue: Scheduling a blog post does not generate the same admin and subscriber notification as if the post author (in this case an admin) creates and publishes a post immediately.

I have tested this issue using my staging site and confirmed the admin report of issue. I have checked the blog notification settings (appear to be correct) and searched the forum for assistance.

How to re-create this issue.
1. See testing site information provided in my saved site details for staging1
2. Create and publish a blog post. An email notification is immediately sent to subscribers and administrators.
3. Create a scheduled blog post and publish the post. No email will be sent to subscribers or administrators.

Let me know how to resolve this issue. If this requires an update to php code, is it possible to fix this issue for my site, then add the fix to the next software release?

Todd
