Restrict Author to Single Category?

Is there a way to restrict an author to a single category to publish in? I have multiple authors and multiple categories and wish to limit each author to only publish in their own category. Currently, when an author logs in, they can select from any of the available categories when posting and I don't want them to be able to do that. They should only be able to publish in their assigned category by default.
