Remove Style tags from intro text

Hello there,

I have some blog posts where I added a <style> tag at the beginning of my blog post. The issue that I'm having is that the style attributes are being displayed as the intro text for the blog modules and frontpage. Is there a way that the intro can only display text and not the style info?
