Remove most social components in frontend

Hi,
just first wanted to feedback that you guys have a realy great support out there!
now i have some sort of a silly question :-) i need to remove most of the stuff easy social does as i need it simply to handle my user accounts in a way that it integrates well to my joomdle and moodle environemnt.
to be a bit more specific - i dont need a feed nor groups, friends and all that stuff. simply a user profile with some fields for two different types of users (students and customers). the students additionaly should have a gallery so they might upload images and pdf files that will be visible to all other students but not customers. so for now i disabled all functions as far as i could find buttons in the config dialog. as well i stopped publishing some modules.
unfortunately i have the news feed and modules like recent users, online users, recent albums, filter, groups that are shown if i add a account layout menu item to just display a users account profile page.

so i asked myself if your component will meet my requirement or if i simply did not get the right configuration way to get this done.

as well i have the issue with the registration profiles. i have a very simple need and don´t know if it is possible to get this done with easy social - i have a 2 steps registration need. so i have several fields like name, email and so on that are common for both user types. if a user checks a radiobutton that indicates that he is a student i want to show him some additional fields that are mandantory to answer. if he is not a student he these fields should not be shown to the customers registration workflow. so with the registration profile approach i have the issue that customers will not know which registration workflow to use as the won´t read the description of the registration category they have to choose. so a constrains based workflow will be much more user friendly.

so is all that achivable with easy social and could you perhaps point me into the right direction ? it would be great as i wanted to use the bridge from joomdle and easy social to pass field information from the user profile to my lms system moodle.

thanks in advance for answering to that!
have a great day
carsten
