Remote Publishing, control over image placement

Hi, am now making a start with remote publishing by email and would like to know if there's any way to control the placement of images.

Currently any image in the email, as attachment or inline gets placed at the bottom of the blog post. Is there any way to set it as the blog post image or get it added to the top of the post?

Also, is there any way to place the email into a specific category other than the category selected in the backend settings?
