Rejecting a User Account does not remove it from the Pending Approvals

I am not sure this is a bug... In my case, this behaviour could be fine as it allows me to ask for further information to the user, in order to validate his account.

But then, for a user I really want to reject, how do I remove him from list (without deleting the account)?

Maybe a good solution would be to replace the "Also delete user from the site" checkbox option (in confirmation dialog when a user is rejected) by a radio with 3 options:
o Keep User in Pending Approvals
o Remove user from Pending Approvals
o Delete user from the site
