Reducing the size of MyPHP Database (EB Blog Revisions) 02

Hello SI Team

I have been told by my hoster. (Siteground)
That my database has exceeded the allowed size.
On my current plan I am only allowed 750MB.
They have given me until Friday to get this under control.

This is more or less the same thing as this here:

My Easy Blog Revisions are currently at 180MB

Has anything changed from the Stackideas side since last time?

Deleting 1000s of revisions per hand is painful.

And whilst the truncate command from last time was powerful it did mess up some stuff.

there has to be a better way?
