redirecting from root to ES dashboard

I took over this site that someone previously set up. The home page was set up to be the Easy Social login menu item. After one is logged in and returns to the root URL, the user is taken to a menu item that is of type Easy Social User Dashboard. I don't see what is redirecting to this page. Is there some setting in Easy Social that auto redirects one to the ES Dashboard?

I am not allowed to share access to this private intranet, so please answer my question as best you can based upon the functionality of EasySocial. What causes a redirect from the login page to the Dashboard page? Is there a way to change this redirection?
