Question to the EasyBlog update process

When I update easyblog (Download ZIP, extract ZIP, Upload it to the server, use the install from folder option) I can see that the box "select all" is selected, however not every module is selected. This is a little bit confusing ... can you explain a little bit how this is supposed to work? Will it be detect only the modules which are currently "used" on the side and will then not update the one which aren´t used? What if we alter one wish to use them?
