Hi!

I have two new websites that I have installed EasyDiscuss with Joomla. New installs and setups. Nothing fancy. No modifications. Out-of-the-box

First website works when a public user goes to the webpage they can view discussions if they are not logged in. Second website they cannot See error message below

Both have the EXACT same Easy Discuss settings (we are using one for testing /prototype ). The only difference is that the working test site has Joomla test data - that is it.

When you post on the second site ( the one in question) a public user cannot see the posting from the front page. It is blank. Here is the link;

In addition if they try to view via a direct link they get the following error message.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: 404 - Sorry, but the post that you are trying to access is not available.
You may not be able to visit this page because of:
1.an out-of-date bookmark/favorite
2.a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
3.a mistyped address
4.you have no access to this page
5.The requested resource was not found.
6.An error has occurred while processing your request.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It seems pretty obvious a security issue.
All directories are set to 7777. Thus thinking it should be a simple Easy Discuss setting.

If a registered user logins everything is fine.

Any ides?

In all fairness please note that we have tried to include as much information in the description of the problem as much as possible to avoid having to provide login credentials to our environment. If this is required then I can make arrangements.

Thanks!
-Kevin
