Problem with the Categories

hey there,
i have ONE Problem and ONE Question.

Problem:
I renamed a Main-Categorie from "Frage den Experten" to "Frag die Experten". Now theres a big mess with the Categories.
-> The "Frag die Experten" Categorie is on the Backend a 3th Level Categorie (Picture 1)
-> The "Frag die Experten" Categorie is wrong on the Frontend -> Design (link-color) and Structure/Categories (http://bauau.ch/forum on the bottom)
---> Now i cant EDIT nor DELETE the "Frag die Experten" Categorie..

Can you please help me? i have no idea what happend...

Question:
All the Sub-Categories on the Categorie "Frag die Experten" are going to have a max. letter-size off 375 letters. Is it possible to show to the User
a Field, witch show, how many letters are left for using in his post? It's very important, because noone know's how many letters are left. Theres only a error-msg after clicking the send-button.
