Problem with Google Analytics

Hi everyone. I have version 3.8 and I'm having trouble with GA. When I log into GA it doesn't show me any hits at all to my blog posts even though the hit counter on some of my blog posts run in the hundreds. GA is tracking the rest of my website though. I was just using the async GA plugin, I just disabled it and installed Bigshot.

I saw on another post in these forms that I should add the GA code to my site template but I don't see a way to do this? I don't see how to edit my template to add the code?

And my other question is how can I test to see if my blog posts are actually getting the GA code or not? If they aren't any ideas on how to start tracking it?
