php.ini setting to modify file upload size

Hi there,

I am really sorry to bother you with this eventually pretty silly question, but I can not find the answer myself.

Where can I change the php.ini setting to change the max. file size for photo, video, etc. upload? I have found the configuartion inside easy social config menu, but the system replies that I need to change a php.ini setting, because in this file a max. size of 8MB for videos is defined. And finally does this php.ini setting overrule the easy social config. value.
