Hi SI team
I tried searching the forum for “Leverage browser caching” and honestly it was all gobbledygook to me.
Here is the deal.
I go here:
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=finalbug.net&tab=desktop
And when I look at the tab Should Fix: Leverage browser caching
I see the following.
Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network.
Leverage browser caching for the following cacheable resources:
http://finalbug.net/…nents/com_easyblog/assets/css/common.css (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…nents/com_easyblog/assets/css/module.css (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…m_easyblog/themes/default/css/styles.css (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…themes/default/images/blog-navi-next.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…themes/default/images/blog-navi-prev.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…ault/images/icons/exclamation-button.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…hemes/default/images/icons/feed-plus.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…hemes/default/images/icons/font-size.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…images/icons/mail-open-document-text.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…hemes/default/images/icons/mail-plus.png (expiration not specified)
http://finalbug.net/…hemes/default/images/toolbar-archive.png (expiration not specified)
Seeing as how they all look pretty much like Stack Ideas resources I though that I would ask the masters them selves if they had some ideas, how I can improve this.
For any one else reading this, I got to the above page via this:
https://www.feedthebot.com/pagespeed/
Which is my new favourite web tool ;-)
thanks in advance
Paul
