When a community is new, users will not log in often to check notifications when there is not much activity happening. It would be great if there was an option for admins to turn on email notifications for likes and reactions so users will be more likely to log on, friend the liker or other users and check what's happening and contribute more.

Also - if a digest could be created to summarise likes and reactions if there are more than 1 in a day/set period - this could help reduce unwanted emails (spam).
