Notify all members on new entries - Does this connect to your User Manager on Joomla

On my Joomla 2.5 website, my members can be located in the User Manager section of the administrator panel.

I am wondering if the following feature is possible using Easyblog.

I wish to notify the members located in the User Manager section each time a blog is posted on Easy blog. Do I simply click the "Yes" option under Settings > Notifications > Blogs > Notify all members on new entries?

Or do members need to subscribe to my blog separate from being a member?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
