Nothing done in easydiscuss shows up in the easysocial stream

Hi.
We have a problem with integrating easydiscuss with EasySocial. Nothing done in easydiscuss shows up in the easysocial stream...
Newest versions of both EasySocial and EasyDiscuss (even upgraded this one today)
-In Easydiscuss - integrations is set to YES, and so is all the settings under the tab "EasySocial"
-The app EasyDiscuss (v1.3.7) is installed and activated in EasySocial.
-"Discover Alerts" in Easysocial shows /administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/easysocial/alerts/posts.alert · 7 rules installed.
When I click on the link "stream" in EasySocial admin, the activity done in EasyDiscuss will show "John Smith Created new forum post. - Content N/A - Type N/A" but nothing shows up in the stream on the front end.
Also: When I try to post to the forum using the "Discussions" button in the EasySocial status update, I get the error "Sorry, but the content is currently not available or you do not have permissions to view the item." The post will show up in the forum, but not in the EasySocial stream.
All the privacy rules in EasySocial have been published...

Any thoughts as to what the problem is here?
