No dropdown and 'detect location' in registration form

I've installed EasySocial with Joomlart Social II and this did work well with the reigstration form.
(location: 'mainsite'/JSES).

But now suddenly I dont get a dropdown menu at 'birthday' and I aslo see no 'detect location'. (see attachtments for working and non-working examples).

I tested it in 3 browsers and I did restore EasySocial even back to default settings, but that didn't work....
